Hi, I am new here so please bear with me. I have had the Sony MZ-NF610. I originally got it for music. I also host a podcast. With the podcast I will be doing an interview outside of my little home studio. Is there a way for me to use my MD for this? The problem I see is that it only has a line-in, not a mic-in. Does someone know of a way for me to record using this? Thanx in advance for your help.

Alright, I see what I need to do.....I still think it is just unfortunate that I cannot simply plug in a nice field mic....Oh well. Thank you so much!

That's interesting, so the 957 directly into the line input instead of the microphone input when the music is really loud. That's worth knowing.

I know this as it is in the teeny-weeny little folded piece of paper SONY calls a manual. ;o) And the line-in does not have the pre-amp so it makes good sense, too.
