Jonpl
I am having problems connecting my CMT-M333NT to my PC. Sony's "Personal Audio Driver" doesn't seem to do the trick. I'd be really grateful to any forum member who can help. Many thanks in advance.

You can download it at this link http://downloads.conics.net/sony/sony%20cmt-m333nt/ I'm sorry have to bump this topic. But was anyone successful with this? I've tried many times to let my PC (Windows XP) accepts Net MD driver but I'm still not luck.
sfbp
If can stand it, try reading here: If not, then I'll try to help. Notice that the last significant line of the updated netmd052.inf file actually mentions the 333NT. The USB port doubles as a PCLINK port, you may need/want to run M-Crew, but that's another whole story. In that case you have to find THAT driver too. The only remain is SONY USB COMM, I have no idea what driver is belonged to it. May you tell me please? Thanks again.
sfbp
You did well - sounds like English not your first language but you managed to follow that discussion. Where do you live? Finally time to make that an "official" version, then, seems to pass all the tests of usefulness. The USB COMM is the driver I was referring to. What I am NOT sure is whether you have to install another driver on top of what is there now. I rather think so - the manual for M-Crew may explain this to you, see below. You should go to the downloads section and grab M-Crew 2.01E. M-Crew is a very nice program and it should work with these drivers. I have never had the M333 in my hands, but I think it should work. Essentially (eventually!) you should end up with THREE lines of communication via a single USB connection: 1. Your PC Audio output device can become the M333, have to go to the "Sounds and Audio Devices" Control Panel and tell it that the default Audio device for playback is the new "sound card" that should have popped in there. Unfortunately I cannot tell you what it is called, but probably "USB Audio Device". 2. Your NetMD device will be the driver we just installed. 3. The (SIRCS emulation, if you know what that is) PCLink driver (for M-Crew) somehow. This is the part I haven't actually tried out. Good luck! Neddie
@sfbp: I'm from Vietnam, and SUSU and I have a good luck to meet PhilippeC in here and see apart of his stuffs. I installed M_crew but nothing change. I think it's annoying when looking at its yellow icon, beyond it, NetMD and USB Audio ouput are ok. Maybe I have to try to forget it, hehe. sfbp
Maybe I have to try to forget it, hehe. No way, I want to get this working. Now you have to install the PCLink Driver AS WELL, I am sure of this. It's part of the M-Crew download. You just have to look for pclkusb.sys somewhere. Worst case I will make a separate upload, but I promise, it's there in what you downloaded. M-Crew really is very nice. I wish I had an M333 it sounds really convenient. sfbp
I could only wish that everyone coming on here first time was as smart as you (of course, then there wouldn't be much for us to do). Frequently we don't know what level they are operating at, so it is hard to gauge the correct response (for us to make). Clearly you are an expert already, and we will welcome you back if you have more questions. Enjoy! Stephen

sfbp
I forgot to ask - does M-Crew now work correctly? If you have never used it before, how do you like it? It's really quite powerful.

sfbp
That's bizarre. Is there a special version of M-Crew for the unit you have, perhaps? Try here (it's japanese), I think the C7NT may be the same architecture as the M333. But I found a link on this site (here) to 2.2. No trace of that from the Web. Wonder if it's on Sony's support site. Can't find it even in the uk.

sfbp
Help! I have finally gotten a CMT-M333NT in my hands. Everything works, including using it as an Audio device, except M-Crew. Does anyone out there actually have the right version of M-Crew (mcrew_m333nt.exe) for this box?
sfbp
Bump.... I am still combing the highways and byways, without success, for MCrew 2.51 (I think) specially designed for this machine.
sfbp
FINALLY (I don't know how I missed this before) https://www.services...-424323712.aspx Looks like the relevant part number is 424323712 Does anyone know how to order this? (apart from the fact that it's out of stock, you have to be signed up as a Sony Professional) Either that, or someone out there is willing to find their disk...... Stephen Update: I managed to order from http://www.ued.net/ued/viewItemAction.do?itemCode=SNY424323712 by giving them a US address. We will see what happens........
