hammzone
I have had my Sharp 702 for 7 or 8 years now and it has become obsolete with the MP3 age of today. I have tons of music stuck on mini discs that I would love to be able to dump into itunes if there is a way. the 702 appears to only have and optical line in and a mic line in plus the headphones jack. Is there a way to transfer my mini discs to my mac ??
raintheory
Analog, yes. In realtime.Simply run an 1/8" cable from your headphone out into the line-in of your Mac. Use a sound editing program (for example the freeware program "Audacity") to record the signal. These files can then be converted to Mp3 or your desired format.Sorry there's no faster way to do this currently.-a Edited June 5, 2007 by raintheory
raintheory
Errm, what about the Parallels on Mac+MZ-RH1+SonicStage solution? That would work, yes. ...But would involve getting parallels, and an RH1...Just stating with his current setup there's no faster way, Edited June 5, 2007 by raintheory
