kevs
I have home based unit for 8 years, no issues ever. For first time I have two disc, back to back, both stop playing after a minute or so. Fortunately I have a back up player, and tested with that and it acted up with backup player, telling me problem is with discs. These are Sony, says, shock coating, color collection. I got off E bays few years ago, brand new.I've used 30 or so with no issues. Is this a fluke. Any ideas appreciated. thanks!
THIS SUCKS
carefully open the shutter door. then using the center of the disk spin it while looking at the bottom first then the top check for dirty spots they will keep you from having good recordings. clean them off just like you would on a regular cd. Dont understand that shutter door etc. Perhaps you could send a sceenshot. Now I've never had this issue before and it's now 3 times in Row ( just happened with 3rd MD)You think it's definitely the disc or perhaps the recording part of the recorder?also, these are brand new MDs. do you belive in thosec lens cleaners? Strungup
thanks Whole. So play a disc you dont really need on the Other player just to makes sure it works BEFORE you put it into the deck player then if it stops you know the the deck has a problem. kevs
Hmm that's interesting, how would I test that, in short, the stoppage would have to apprear on every mini disc at say 4 min and 5 seconds regardless of which track etc?If not, then it's back to the drawing board?NO need to play disc, like I said, it's not the player of either disc, it's the recorder of present deck or discs, or just weird flukes.anyone else experience this?still waiting on whole lots answer, and what guys think of lens cleaners?
