LHB
Under "Transfer", the usual "Net MD" has disappeared and I don't know why. It worked fine when it was there. The only choices I have to transfer are only by CD - Audio CD, ATRAC CD and MP3 CD. I used to transfer to Net MD and it worked fine but now it's pretty much impossible now that it's disappeared off my transfer list. The USB that the NetMD is connected to is securely plugged into the PC but the computer doesn't detect the hardware, it states that the device connected to the USB is malfunctioned...I so want to be able to transfer my music files to NetMD again, as I'm getting sick & tired of the current songs on my minidiscs BUT IT'S NOT LETTING ME!SonicStage 4.3MZ-N10 NetMDafter the last time I transfered files to this MD player... I listened to the player with headphones plugged directly into the player's headphone jack without the little cylinder thing. I didn't normally listen to the player that way. Am I suppose to listen with the little cylinder thing plugged into the MD player and the headphones plugged into the cylinder, at all times? Is the NetMD player hopelessly broke now? It can still be listened to, but it won't transfer. Edited June 20, 2007 by LHB
Sparda
Could it be because SimpleBurner was opened? Today while transferring (well in the process) I couldn't see the option for my RH1 too, and I noticed that SimpleBurner wasn't closed. After I closed it, the drop down menu had an option to transfer to my RH1 now. Normally I remember to close SimpleBurner, but I forgot to today. Or you could always plug it into another USB port directly into your computer. Btw, by the "cylinder" i think you mean the remote? Goodluck. LHB
Yes, the remote is what I meant.I closed Simple Burner and it still isn't showing up in Transfer.I noticed, however, that the Safety Remove Hardware icon is gone from the taskbar, even when I set it to show always. I once made the mistake of disconnecting my NetMD without clicking on that first... so this could be the problem and now the device is broke because of that. -sigh- I needed to get a new one anyway. raintheory
Just for kicks, try a different USB port. If you use one that you haven't had it plugged into before, it will reinstall the driver and may start working properly again.
culp4684
I would just try the old fix of uninstalling and then reinstalling SS 4.3. It couldn't hurt...
