Beetlecrusher
I have a problem with my Sony MDS-NT1. When I try to compile a minidisc in SP mode from the library, the recorder will complete about half a dozen songs then it completely crashes the computer, causing it to restart. A message pops up saying that the computer has recovered from a serious error and when I check for more information, it says there is driver problems. I also use Simpleburner for my MZ-RH10 without any trouble but I need SP mode for my Sony MZ-R50 & CA580X. I am using Sonicstage 4.3 and the hardware manager on the computer says that the MDS-NT1 is working properly, although after the computer crashes, I have to switch it off and on to make it work again. Any advice gratefully received.

It seems to have worked as I`ve copied about six albums onto minidisc without any crashes. Thanks again.

I totally agree. I`ve actually got two, one I use regularly and another I bought to replace the first if it ever packs up. The second has never been used.
