I own the MDREX90's and they are great, except in the noise isolation area.I use them on the bus and they don't hide the noise to well. They sound beautifully clear though.I was thinking of switching to the new Sennheiser CX400's because they offer better noise canceling performance.Just wondering if anyone has tried them both and compared them.I don't want to lose the MDR-EX90's great sound, but would like some better noise suppression, and maybe even a little more bass response.Thaks in advance...

I bought the Cheapest pair of Senns yesterday , and didnt take them off all day long , (even at the dinner table , my wife was pissed , so was my kid)

I will give em a break today , but I was really suprised at the dimensionality , I have the NUDE EX Pro's with the cloth cable cover . and they dont come close to the 2,900 yen Sennheisers I bought yesterday.

And I wil add that I am NOT one to say anything against Sony generally somewhat addicted, you might say.

lol, the isolation between the ex90 and cx400 will NOT be significantly different, you are better off looking for phones from ultimate ears, shures, or etymotics. the idea is that both ex90 and cx400 use silicone tips, thats why they suck at isolation. you can either buy 3 flanged tips from ebay which fit the sonys, or go for an iem.
