Smallan
Hi,I already have two Sony MiniDisc recorders I use for field recording. My father is vision impaired & doesn't have a computer for email. I would like to send him 'audio mail'. I'm thinking of buying him an MD player with large control buttons so I can send him MiniDiscs. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
sector001
i'm afraid there aren't any MD players with large lettering on them?
bland10000
The largest buttons on recent players, say the past five years, are on the eh50 and eh70 hi-md players which also playback legacy. I'll post some photos when I get home from work of the buttons on these units and of buttons from some others so you can see what you will be dealing with. Smallan
I recommend an MD deckHey that's a great idea, I'll look into that. I'll also look into those eh units.Thank you very much for the ideas.
bland10000
The top two pictures are the back of the eh50 and the bottom two pictures are the back of the eh70. Other players have buttons the same size as the "menu/enter" button on the r410 listed on your member page.I agree with Wiz, that a deck would be the best choice for what you are after. bland10000
Nope, same ports for the remote...in my case, the 40elk but both players came with the 38el.(edit) I see what you are saying...I grabbed the nearest remote at hand which was a Kenwood remote hence the different configuration. Also, if you look closely at the adapter plug, it has three lines representing the 4-pole design...Kenny's were rebadged Sharps. KJ_Palmer
The Sony MZ-B10 'business' machine has a large LCD display and playback/recoring buttons. Lacks Hi-MD capability, but plays LP2/4, mono and SP of course. Lovely machine, I use mine all the time for general recording/playback.
