Hi,

Got a clarion mini disc player in the car but it only plays atrac or atrac 1 format?

ive got a sony mini disc net player/recorder mz-n505 is there anyway i can copy music from pc to the mini disc player in atrac or atrac 1 format.

Thanks

transfer the files as "sp mode" to the disk and it will play in your car player the transfer is very slow about 1.6x transfer speed if you did it right. if not when you try to play it in the car the track titles will show up but there will be no sound.

Thanks for the advice?

do you select sp play in sonicstage.

Once you've installed and opened SonicStage, click on the Transfer tab near the top of the screen.

Then click on the Transfer Mode Settings Icon (looks like a briefcase) in between the two windows. The third option (SP Transfer Mode) is the one you want.

By the way, if you are using Vista, you need version 4.3, otherwise most people recommend 4.2.
