Posted December 9, 2007 Report Share Posted December 9, 2007 Both my Sony MDS-JE440 and older 520 deck have recently started recording the first track correctly in a synchro recording from my Sony CD player to MD then added second long blips til the trrack listing tops out at 256 tracks . I made sure that the Track marking L. Sync is set to ON and that the threshold for silence is on -50 db's and even reset it to -65 db's threshold but the problem persists . I tried a different optical cable and problem still persists . I just tried using the analog input and it worked fine .Any ideas on what's happening ?
