darktrain
I have a MZ-B100 in mint condition in the box(can't find the remote which most people never use anyway)i am thinking about selling on ebay(my ebay id is underworldrob 100% positive feedback) but wanted to see if anyone here was interested first so i could avoid those pesky ebay fees, payment by paypal(verified only). I will post some pics in a couple days but for now just wanted to see if anyone was interested. UPDATE: Well i knew this unit was pretty hard to get and sought after, after doing some research i found that one which pretty well matched the one i have sold for 415.00 yesterday on ebay and i think the last one i saw went for right around there also. They don't show up very often it seems and when they do look what happens. Since i am trying to avoid ebay(they are jacking the fees next week) i am willing to let it go for 350.00(i will pay shipping(in the usa, if outside will be a little more) and eat the paypal fees). Like i said it will be a couple days till i get some pics up(i have to borrow a camera since mine took a crap). Superbaldguy
Does this use English as its standard language or Japanese? I remember some models did use English, but most were not.....

Strungup
WOW , it went for 415 dollars , Unbelievable , that is more than what it was new, the B10 is 23,900 yen where I am ( I have one , very useful)
culp4684
I actually know of a local store here in central NJ that has a few of those in a display case. Can't remember what the price was, but they still had them as of two weeks ago.It never really interested me because of the high price and what it was designed for (business recording). With the intro of Hi-MD and even longer recording capabilties, this unit was rendered kind of obsolete...
Strungup
I wouldnt say Obsolete , I use my B10 all the time for lectures and educational stuff , and it absolutely hands down beats any other option for speech level stuff, the clarity is far better than any "Voice Recorder " or MP3 recorder that I have heard . plus it plays in any MD deck I have , uses AA batts ( Removal Changeable ) unlike a lot of other units . The B100 has the advantage of Stereo mics , so you get the spacial sense of conversations , and meetings , and you carry nothing but the unit with you . Also , I can attach a NICE stereo mic to either , and they instantly become High Quality Stereo Digital Recorders with adjustable mic sensitivity on Both . Obsolete ....... ??? I dont think so . KJ_Palmer
Definitely - the built in speaker and microphone in a sense beats any Hi-MD unit made, not to mention ipods etc. I find my B10 invaluable for music practice, with one-touch recording and playback without fiddly wires, and digital pitch control for those tricky passages. Those 2 AA batteries seem to last forever. It's only a shame they're not going to be made any more, and there's no Hi-MD version...

culp4684
Obsolete ....... ??? I dont think so .OK, OK...I guess obsolete was kind of harsh. I was just referring to the fact that you could use a Hi-MD recorder and mic for quite a bit less and fit a whole semester's worth of lectures on a single disc if need be.You've got me on the deck, though, unless you're one of the select few Onkyo owners out there...
