6079
I tried it with a JB3 and had no connection. This could be software, or the USB. Does the USB work with any device with a USB port or only the Sony minidiscs?
6079
I might add I'm referring to the USB cable that came with the sony hi-md. I'm not sure if they all do, but the mzm10
Avrin
I am actually using the nice grey USB/mini-USB cable that came with my SONY DCR-TRV460E camcorder to transfer music to/from my Hi-MD units. Works perfectly, and is much more convenient. Haven't tried Hi-MD cables with the camcorder, but I think they will also work.
raintheory
The MZ-M10 uses a standard "Mini B" (I think) connection. Regardless of the name of it, it is not proprietary. There are however a few cables that Sony has used that are in fact proprietary (MZ-NH1, etc?). But for the most part, the USB connections are USB Mini B... alexisvas
If the end fits it works. I use it for my Olympus mju 600.
greenmachine
As opposed to Hi-MD portables, the NJB3 can't be powered solely by USB. Make sure there's either a charged battery in it and/or the AC adapter is connected. If the USB cable fits, it should work. Also, the NJB3 is not a plug-and-play device, make sure you have the correct drivers/software installed.
