KJ_Palmer
There's a Vista compatible driver installation for NetMD/Hi-MD walkmans in the Downloads section (at the top of this page). I haven't tried this one myself as I got it from another source, but I'm sure it'll be fine. Edited July 11, 2008 by Barock

Avrin
AFAIK, the AM-NX9 uses the NETMD031.sys driver, which is not supposed to cause any problems (it hasn't been rewritten since April 2003, and that version work with Vista). The only problem I can see in your case is that you have a VAIO version of SonicStage without any drivers. In this case you may get a full set of Vista-compatible drivers here: ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/DNA/VISTA/MD/PA_DRIVER.EXE
waiton
Hi there.I'm in the same situation here. I've installed Sonicstage 4.3 on a Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit laptop and when I plug my AM-NX9 in, the device is not recognised. I downloaded the pa driver file and installed it... the folders appear in the "program files\sony\personal audio driver" folder but seem to not have been installed.I've gone to device manager in the control panel and tried to manually install the drivers but after pointing vista to look in the above folder, vista pops a window up saying no suitable driver found. Anyone else have any answers? Thanks for your time W
