blueloon
hi, I've used my MZ-M200 with the bundled mic to record my 5-piece band in a garage. of course I'm planning on recording other bands in various concert settings as well. I've just read it should be recording in manual instead of auto, so I'm eager to try that out...but this post is just to make sure I'm on the right track for what I'd like to get in the future. I was warned the bundled mic is trash and I should get something better. even so, we were pretty impressed with the recording, and the audible moments of compression probably have to do with it being in auto mode. anyway, as good as it sounds, I'll probably buy better mics at some point. from what I've read, recording line-in with these mics and this battery module should yield great results. sfbp
You may find that these are more than adequate. I similarly was not that disappointed with the bundled mike - but the binaurals are a lot better. Not sure if you need the whole battery box thing.
