Sony_Fan
There's a non-working MZ-RH1 on ebay that is being sold cheap. Here's the link, maybe someone here can buy it, fix it and sell it for a profit. I don't know how to fix stuff like this:http://cgi.ebay.com/MZ-RH1-non-working-for...1QQcmdZViewItem
Avrin
The "It's disassembled because I took it apart to remove the jammed minidisc." statement makes it clear that the overwrite head is no longer. And there's no way to replace it. Sorry...

Avrin
Not at all. The seller is actually selling some electronic intestines of their RH1. And these may be of value. Edited August 20, 2008 by Avrin
Strungup
Without the qualified equipment there isnt a way to fix it , if it isnt "Fixable" ....... If the seller has No source for Fixing , and Says it is Fixable , then it is a falsehood , if the seller just doesn't understand , then it is , then it is lack of common sense Take your pick
Avrin
The white connecting "ribbon" at the right part of the photograph doesn't look to me as if it has anything to do with an RH1.

I had to look at it fairly closely but that is what it is A common practice , I do that myself when I am repairing something
