jjrichardson
Since discovering that my old MD recorder is completely useless, I need to buy a new one. I am doing a family history and interviewing all the surviving members of the older generations. I have a trip coming up so need to make a decision ASAP but feel like I'm starting at square one again. I don't want to repeat my last mistake of buying it online and then way down the road realizing that the software won't work right and they will not give me technical assistance since it was made for the Japanese market.So......any suggestions for a decent, affordable minidisk recorder? I don't need anything fancy. Thanks,jj jjrichardson said: Since discovering that my old MD recorder is completely useless, I need to buy a new one. sfbp
I would look on ebay for a second hand Sony MZ-NH700 or MZ-NH900. Both of these models accept a microphone and can upload the resulting sound to computer. They won't help with your other problem (uploading the legacy recordings, only the RH1 can do that) but these two are reportedly a bit more solid (and cheaper) than the RH1.
