Hello there!

Sorry if this thread has been already discuss but i cannot find anything about this. And I don't know if I do put this topic in MD or Hi-MD section.

I recently bought a Sony MDS-JB930 Deck and I'm very happy with it. But a strange history happens today:

I would like to record some CD with anti-copy system on MD and then transfer them to my PC.

So i take an MD and put in my Deck and see what happened :

The deck display "Hi-MD disc" !!! The disc was not empty and have tracks in Hi-SP mode.

Have someone noticed this before?

Ok! thanks for quick answer.

So, has Sony implemented a code in the TOC or somewhat else in the disc to warning users?

Is it like the GDROM of Dreamcast : when you insert one of these in a CDROM player it displays a text file who tell you it is a GDROM and it can be damage your CDROM player.
