RED SHIFT1
I have the Sonic Stage 4.3 Digital Music Manager (or something like that) on my PC. I have been using for some time now to keep up with my music; I generally import cds or files into it. Just today I noticed that the amount of memory availible for storage has gotten down to below 10 gigs. I am far from finished...is there anyway to increase the amount of memory? I do have an excternal hard drive if that means anything. Attached is a screenshot of the memory thing...my library.doc
Richard
You can use an external drive with SS - in fact this is what I use myself. You should be able to move the files from within the options; Tools => Options => Location to save imported files.. To quote the help If you change the location to save files, a dialog box appears prompting you to confirm whether to move files in the previous folder to the changed folder. Clicking "Yes" moves the files to the changed folder. I think when I orignally moved mine to an external drive I just copied everything across via explorer and re-imported but I didn't have a very large library then and I had to re-add some of the cover art.. Have a search using Sonic Stage +external drive, there are few topics on the forum already dicussing this. * Moved to Software section
