sfbp
You cannot transfer TO the PC. Period. (well, with this device). You might have a driver problem if you cannot transfer from PC to minidisc. We need a bit more information to be able to help. otakugospel
ah,right,i was trying to transfer to the MD in SP transfer mode. tried converting the mp3 beforehand, and letting sonicstage take care of it, and in either case it just stalls at a random % and disconnects. Well the problem may be with the way in which SonicStage handles the conversion of the MP3 files. Another bug it has, you have valid files (eg .WAV) that play in SoS quite fine but won't transfer. In that case, deleting them from the SoS catalogue (make sure you leave unchecked the boz that says "delete music files from this computer") and reimporting them works fine. It might be the same silly thing happening with MP3 files, I really don't know, as I have never bothered to do it with MP3 files. To be sure I might convert to WAV first and then let SoS do the compression from WAV->ATRAC.
