carchip
Hi , All I have recently bought a MZ RH-1. I like it its very cool for what is now old tech. Now i can upload my old mindics , mostly recorded through mic with a MZ-R30 ( even older tech). I have used SonicStage CP 4.3 to upload and convert to wav and am happy with the results However is there any for the original Record Date and Time to be automatically added to the track name, or to be used as the track name for 'unnamed tracks'. This will save me a lot of manual renaming as i have a large number of disks i want to upload. Please let me know if there is away to do this cheers Carchip
sfbp
Unfortunately I think the simple answer is no. However you can do the renaming on the disk before upload, while it is in the RH1. Would that do the trick? Regards Stephen

sfbp
I'm not sure that there is a timestamp in pre-HiMD recordings. I think some units handled it (the N910 for example) but Sonic Stage never took notice. It's possible the #linux-minidisc project will do this. I would need to check. Currently they cannot upload Atrac3, I think.
Avrin
Transferred tracks will not include recorded date information even when the clock is set.
