Please excuse my cut-to-the-chase question/s that have been answered millions of times. I'm getting back into the MD market and have limited time for searching.

It seems Sony is still making life miserable on the usual points, so...

What portable Hi-MD recorder brand/model will allow direct/unlimited/no-hassle(no SoundStage) uploading to PC, can play old 74 min. discs, on-board adjustable live recording intake vol., backlit panel, great for live concerts, and has essentially all the preferred goodies of the best MD recorders?

Thank you!

MZ-RH1. But you still need SonicStage.

Thank you, Albert. That's the one which seemed best to me after getting cold feet yesterday on ebay and letting the used MZ-M200 kit pass. Went for only $230... :mega_shok: ...or maybe not.

Wiz, cool!, look's like that's the way to go. Is there anything I need to install/or? before I do the QHi deed?

I'm feeling much better today thanx to your help!
