Stephen, hi again!

Well, after my hiatus I came back to let you know that SimpleBurner is working up again, but I couldn't tell you what I did exactly, since I was fixing so many things in my registry and other stuff, that I am not sure if that had anything to do OR that the following is what cured the problem:

My ISP has been having some problems lately so I've been offline a few hours. During one of those internet blackouts, I fired up SB and VOIL

How's this for an explan: the CDDB was somehow getting confused and accessing D: just when the drive check should be popping up and accessing E:?

But a very very interesting solution. Disconnect from the internet when you want to do a drive check.

BTW, you can invoke drive check manually from SB, I discovered this week when I had a CDWriter go flaky on me.

Maybe that's all you had to do.

I noticed that CDDB cut in BEFORE I had a chance to press the button.

Oh yeah, I tried that button several times, on both my physical drives and the virtual one. Nothing. When I saw it was working on one drive, I immediately checked the other 2, just in case and now all of them are working BUT there's a catch. There is NO SOUND if you hit the Play button... but well, as far as I can transfer music to my HiMD, I don't mind.

All the best, Stephen.
