Incomplete Track Conversion by MP3 Conversion Tool

Hi All,

Last year I uploaded all my minidiscs to my computer using my MZ-RH1 (which I bought mainly for this purpose). I then converted the ATRAC files to MP3 using Sony's MP3 conversion tool. It all went quite smoothly, but I noticed only now that out of the over 1000 tracks I converted, a few (I have discovered 2 or 3 so far) have not been converted fully by the MP3 conversion tool. They suddenly cut off somewhere in the middle of the track. I tried to re-convert the corresponding albums, but still the conversion is not complete (in the case of one album, the previously shortened track was now complete, but instead another one was shortened (so I could merge the old and new conversion), and in case of another album I can't get the track in question to be converted complete at all).

I can only assume that this is a bug in the MP conversion module, and wonder whether anybody can point me to some workaround here.

Many Thanks,

Thomas

Sorry, my original suspicion that the MP3 conversion tool was to blame was wrong. I didn't initially actually listen to the full ATRAC track bust just concluded from the file size that it was OK. However, after listening to it now, it became apparent that the ATRAC track recording fell silent exactly at the point where tha MP conversion cut off. Something must have corrupted the upload. I re-uploaded the track now and everything is OK.
