0 Ascariss
If you want to use the device as a storage media it should be possible, but you cannot listen to mp3s you transfer over using windows explorer.but like any removeable media, you can easily transfer songs to it using windows explorer. I don't understand why you do not try it out yourself, and see if it works, there is no harm in trying before asking.I never moved over mp3s to the device using Windows explorer since i have no need to, but try it and see what happens, if the files don't retain their mp3 file format, it only means that the device is wrapping DRM onto the file to prevent you from sharing it, but I highly doubt that will happen. 0 maxthrusters
You can drag Mp3 files (or any other files actually) onto the A608 using Windows Explorer, but music files will not play. Such files can be moved to another computer since the player acts as a removable drive. To both transfer and play Mp3 files on an A608 you need to use SonicStage. You do not have to convert Mp3 files to ATRAC3plus uness you wish to have smaller file sizes or gapless playback. Note that tracks transferred with SonicStage are not transferrable to other computers unless you live in a country serviced by the Connect Store and have "authorized" the player and the computers. If you want to be able to transfer Mp3 files directly using Windows Explorer and play them on the A608 player, then return it for some other brand. Maybe you would find a Sandisk or Creative player more suitable for your needs.
