sfbp
Sort of a long story here. Starts with the acquisition of an MDS-PC3 (feedback for Pierre and PhilippeC, fantastic service, will be left very shortly in buyer forum). Then I find: a. the MDS-PC3 has ability to use CDDB to find track titles from internet but can only record x1 from CD on PC b. the other PClinkable device I have (CMT-PX3 otherwise known as HCD-MD595) can record from its own CD at x4 but cannot get connected to the PC's CD and/or get title information from CDDB/Gracenote. So if I could have both connected would be wonderful. I can daisychain the optical connections just fine, but the PCLink connection from USB is more of a problem. 1. Is there a way to connect multiple I2C devices to PCLink (and thence MCrew)? 2. Is there a way to make MCrew recognize multiple PClink MN10's (which I now have)? Unfortunately I tried 2 and got several hard crashes of Windows XP. No idea why. The device driver for second PClink got installed but random freeze of everything (Ethernet, Keyboard, Mouse even when second PClink no longer connected to USB socket). All contributions gratefully received. Stephen
