Net MD Driver for Aiwa

Looks like this one slipped through the cracks. Generally Sony devices got more attention as there are more of them. Mind you these AIWA devices were probably made by Sony as the Vendor ID (VID) is still Sony.

You need to add another line into NETMD760.INF in the [ControlFlags] section which is an exact copy of the line for the NX1 EXCEPT that "0113" is replaced by "014C" (the USB PID for the Aiwa NX9).

Like this:

ExcludeFromSelect=USBVID_054C&PID_014C ; AM-NX9

and another one lower down in the [sony] section

%NETMDUSB.DeviceDesc%=NETMDUSB.Dev, USBVID_054C&PID_014C ; AM-NX9

I will PM you a copy of the NETMD760.INF file with the changes made now.

Good luck. If you get it working please let us know, and we will modify the official downloadable copy.

Apologies for the delay in responding, been having some other (unrelated) issues with my PC. Anyway, all done and works fine. Took me two attempts, had to help it along and tell it what to do, mostly down to Windows not being as clever as it thinks it is!

So I can quite confidently say that the AM-NX9 does work ok with 64bit Windows 7. Happy to assist if anyone else is having problems with this.

Thanks for your help and assistance.

Steve
