vilic
Hello. I have a MZ RH1 that Win 7 64 can not see or update. I have downloaded your provided file but zip file doesn't have EXT file so I don't know what to do with it to update the driver for my Sony Walkman. Could you please advise. Thank you
sfbp
If you have Windows 7 then you should be able to see the contents of your zip file. Extract the three files to a real directory (folder) which you know how to find. Now connect your md device WITH A MD IN IT WHICH IS NOT FORMATTED FOR HI-MD. Look at device manager and find the NetMD driver which will have a yellow exclamation mark next to it. Figure out how to UPDATE the driver, using the files you just extracted, specifically you will select NETMD760.INF. With any luck, this will get you going. Note that you most likely get a Windows signing error ("STOP.....") which you can safely ignore. Hope this helps. I think there are numerous accounts of this but as no one is replying to you and I am far away from home, I typed in a quick answer. I apologize if it is too abbreviated. Azureal
vilic, Please start with this thread, it is long but explicit details are contained within: If that is not enough, search the forums (upper right of forum page) for "windows 64bit" and you'll find many additional discussions which have taken place over the last several years between many people in the community on this and related topics. Good luck!
vilic
Thank you both. Would this work for HI-MD as well?
Azureal
Yes, Hi-MD is seen as a Windows Mass Storage Device and has a driver which kicks in when you insert a Hi-MD formatted disk.
