naggie21
Hi guys. I'm new here, but have read topics from the sideline in some time now. The thing is, I've found my good old MZ-NH1 again, but can't for the love of me find the dock or the data cable. The question is, can it actually charge when connected to USB, or do I have to find both the cable and the dock, if I want to use it to transfer files? I know it uses 6v to charge it through the dock, but to me it sounds wierd, if it doesn't at least keep it charged when transfering through its NetMD features. But I may be wrong here. Haven't used it in like forever, so can't remember if it was possible
sfbp
Just tested it, and no, you need the dock, sadly. Three ways to tell it's charging: a. Red light on unit b. battery charge icon on display on unit body c. battery charge icon on remote When I tried it (charging from cable only), they were all blank (although the PC connection was registered). I even afterwards went the extra mile and instead of connecting to PC, used a Samsung wall charger. No luck.
