Artist Link Problems

Hi, how do I update the artist link on my NWA-3000? Is there a way of downloading all the infomation through SonicStage 4 or do I have to manually put in every artist link myself?

Artist link is shit, dont bother with it, worst feature about the Sony HDD products. One artist can have loads of different genres, really, its rubbish.

If using SonicStage, the ArtistLink information when not present is downloaded when you transfer for the first time to your supported device. If it doesnt, look at your settings in SonicStage and enable Intelligent Features so it does.

I like ArtistLink, and find it useful with my A3000. It seems to work best for me after I fixed my genres to actually be genres, and not styles. For example: Alternative Rock, Hard Rock, Grunge, Psychedelic Rock, etc are all style of the genre "Rock". Be Bop, Hard Bop, Swing, etc would be styles of "Jazz". I would check the AMG page for help when unsure: www.allmusic.com

I agree with mooghead, its really useless, but i like to have it just so i can see the controls light orange when i use it.

On Sonic stage 4.0 you can just press that blue and yellow button under the "eq" and you can add artists to links, like playlists.

you activate artist link functions in sonicstage.

once you've done this, sonicstage will automatically update the artist link and other intelligent features infor on the walkman. si it stays updated. like your top 100 for example..

I don't see a way to manually updat intelligent features.
