HD5 and AW3000 on 2 PCs

Question

Hi this is my first post and I hope I am not asking a question that has already been asked a million times!

We have a HD5 and a AW3000 and we used to link them to our laptop to load songs on them. We now have bought a new PC and I was wondering whther we can link our players to either the new PC or the laptop to load songs and manage the music library.

Ideally we would liek to transfer the mmusic library to the new PC because of its larger HD capacity.

Thanks

As long as you transfer the music from the laptop to the new PC using the SonicStage backup tool, you should not have any trouble.

The backup tool is easy enough to use - just make sure you have an external HDD to make the transfer and you will need an Internet connection to restore the music to the new PC.

Good luck!

Install the Asia-Pacific version of SS on the new computer and connect the players and see if they work. They should, but might not. I and others have successfully installed SS on more than one PC and had the devices work on both PCs without problems. Other times you might run into problems with SS telling you you have to initialise the device. That is almost guaranteed to happen with the US and Cdn. versions of SS but the Asia-Pacific seems more forgiving and lets you use the device(s) on more than one comp.
