NW-S706F and iPod style playlists?

Hi,

I am about to buy the Sony NW-S706F (noise cancelling one) and was just wondering whether or not it has a playlist function like the iPod does, both on the player itself and the software.

I ask because I had a NW-E99 player before and if I wanted to play tracks in a specific order I had to copy the each track to a folder within the MP3 player.

The way the iPod does it means there is no duplicate tracks, however on my old NW-E99 there was loads...

I'm not sure if the player itself has a playlist function, but SonicStage (its software) does.

the player supports playlists, you can import playlist from sonicstage.using this playlist will solve your problem of copying the same song under multiple folders.

on-the-go editing of playlist with the player may not be possible, I am not sure.
