Hi & welcome to Atraclife. Look here! :)

Specifically, he is speaking about the ASONWHD001, which works both with it and any Sony HU with Unilink changer control, it has the latest firmware that will work with your NW-A3000 and all other NW-A, NW-HD, and NetMD/Hi-MD Walkmans with remote control capability.

cool thanks, that looks like the business. so if i get a sony head unit (does it have to be sony?) and this box i can just plug it in and it will all work?

have any of ye used this setup? is it hard to install?

i just found this head unit. http://www.incarexpress.co.uk//view_produc...artno=CDXGT410U

it says it is compatible with walkmans, but do you think this includes nwa3000?

thanks!

The in-car unit seems to be what you are looking for. Looks like it's compatable with all Sony mp3 players and also supports ID3 tagging, although I would contact them first to find out.

BIGHMW and MDX-400 should be able to give you advice on the Connects2 equipment.

no way! ive used one of these before and its just a pain in the ass, you end up having to turn 3 things on and off every time.

im gonna go with the 410U and the connects kit, if you plug the walkman into the radio using the usb lead you cant use the radio controls, you can with the connects kit. according to the sony shop man.
