nw-a800 movie format specification

I need to know the movie format specification that the a800 accepts. I've tried to convert video with some other programs but with no luck... I get a message saying "Can not play. File format not supported".

Anyone who have had success with another program than imageconverter?

I've used this program called Xilisoft Video Converter (I had issues with Image Converter). I just selected the presets for converting to "iPod MPEG-4 Movie (.mp4)" and just changed some things like bitrate to 768, changed the audio bitrate, etc. Hope this helps.

Ok it was in the quickstart guide. My player is japanese so I haven't seen the quickstart guide until I found it today on the net. Let's see what I can come up with

I use WinAVI MP4 Converter. works for PSP 2. just select MP4 and it does the rest. U can always tray changing the bit-rate but the default works great in the NW-a80x
