FLAC to AtracAdvancedLossles?

I think this question has been asked before because I don't know why else I would have pirated a program called sound forge. Now does anyone know if there is quality loss in the conversion, or how to even do the conversion? Much help would be appreciated. thanks.

The cheapest way to do it would be to convert FLAC --> WAV using some piece of freeware and then WAV --> AAL using Sonicstage.

Don't quote me on this, but I don't think there's a way to convert directly from FLAC to AAL.

Why would one use AAL, especially if one already use Flac? Flac is open source and more widely supported compared to AAL. AAL is close to useless as a format.

Yeah, there is no direct transcoder to AAL. The only way is to decode the Flac to WAV, then encode the WAV to AAL with SS.

AAL is the only way to have lossless on a Sony DAP.
