NW-S705F USB-cable?

Hi,

Does any other player than NW-S70xx series have same USB cable that comes with NW-S705F?

My cable just broke so i need a new one, but i can't find one anywhere, but i did find a NW-E505 on very low price and a thought i buy that one if it includes same USB cable.

Or is there any onlineshops where i could order new cable?

i think the latest A800s share the same kind of cable with the S700 series. I am 100% sure that the cable from E505 is not compatitable for S705. however, you can try local sony stores and ask for a replacement.

Yes, both the NW-S7xx and NW-A8xx share the same cable (WM Port), Normal/mini USB and proprietory cables for NW-A3000/A1000 won't fit.

I have seen the cables that you need on ebay, but they are asking 25 pound ($60 australian) for the cable, with delivery on top. Search for SONY USB CABLE FOR NW-S705 NW- A805 NW-806 NM-A808 MP3. Far too much if you ask me. I want to get hold of a cable and shorten it to about a 10cm length so I can carry it around with my unit and use it as a storage device as well. Of course I could purchase a second unit....

i was lucky, today i found one in local electronics repairshop, they sold the cable for 22€ (cable was used)!
