Laptop dead, can I recover my music?

I'm sure this has been asked before and I just haven't looked hard enough but.....

My laptop is now dead, courtesy of my children (don't ask!), and needs replacing. I have recovered the hard drive and therefore have access to my original music library, database, registry hives etc. Alas, I have not got a recent backup of the music library  So, having installed Sonicstage 4.3 CP on my new laptop (same version as used previously) is there any way I can recover my music library without going through the whole tedious task of reimporting my entire CD collection? Said music library is also on both my NW-A808 and NH-HD5 if that helps, and however I recover the library (assuming it's possible) I'd rather not see the good old message about music originating on another PC and requiring me to remove all music from my device before copying.

Thanks in advance.

If the files were originally ripped without copy protection (which is off by default since SS40), then try copying them from the hard drive (the default path is "[Drive letter]:\Documents and Settings\All Users\SonicStage\Packages") to another computer and importing them into SonicStage there. If they are copy protected, there is no known way to recover them.

The original files aren't copy protected so I can just copy them, but I'll also have to redo all the album artwork and reupload to my devices as they refuse to accept music from another computer unless all other music is deleted first. The option to authorise my computer is greyed out and I don't have a connect account. I was just trying to make my life a bit easier, ho hum. I also tried Sony support and have hit a black wall; after initially being told to reimport all my CDs every update to my support request I make now receives the following response:

I've tried explaining I'm in the UK and the US toll free nuymber isn't any use to me but as I say, all I get is a repeat of the above. I suspect Tatiana is a bot
