Need advice, getting new player soon!

Okay, so I basically have narrowed it down to the new cowan iaudios, apple ipod nano 3g 8gb, or that new sony flash player with 16gb...

I want to make the best desicion, but I am very hesitant on waiting however long it takes for that new sony DAP to make it's way to the North American or European market. Does anyone have any advice to share?

First I doubt that the NW-A910 series will be available outside of Japan. More because of the 1Seg technology that is included in it and that it will retail for about 45,000 Yen. Sony should be releasing 16GB players soon however.

I would recommend either of the new NWZ series, depending on the features that you want. The NWZ-S610/NWZ-S710 seem to be reasonably priced and packed with features.

You could however take a critical look at the Cowan Iaudio, since it was your first mention.

For various reason I will not recommend the iPod nano, one being is that there are many options for audio/video players that you should consider first. There is nothing wrong with iPod nano however.
