Getting a new mp3 player.

Right now I want a good Sony player by the end of the year. Canada only has the NWZ-A81x and the NWS-61x series. Which one would you say is better? Or should I wait longer for a better player? Thanks

I personally thing these latest walkmans are possibly the best ones ever made.

I like the NWZ-S618 best because of the FM Radio but the other one is just as good, i would say if you can get it at a good price go for it and you wont regret it.

Neither in my opinion are better just different.

That's why I decided to stick with my 808 and to stop moaning about a firmware upgrade!!

I hadn't appreciated all the features I'd lose, and gapless is top of my list as I listen to a lot of live albums. Any gap at all is jarring and unacceptable. I'm almost tempted to buy a second 808 to make sure I'll always have gapless - but it's possible that by the end of the 808's life - Sony will have brought out some more daps which will hopefully be able to play gapless.

Also, I really really like the ability to create on-the-fly playlists. I find it so much better to add as I'm listening, rather than having to calculate what I 'might' want to hear.
