Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling Headphones

I currently own a pair of Sennheiser-CX-300B Earbuds, which are excellent value for money, and do a great job of surpressing outside noise. BUT, sometimes they irritate my ears, so i was thinking of getting some over the head phones that do the same thing. I saw these on Amazon and wondered if anyone owned a pair?

I would imagine the battery and noise cancellation are built in to the headphones rather than in a clip on box halfway down the headphone cord?

Yep Markey, you are spot on. I saw a video review on Youtube which highlighted this point. The only thing that puts me off is the asking price (over 100 GBP)
