I have two problems, first appeared about a year after purchase. Which was the player displaying 'No Database Found' when i turned it on and the loading screen staying on for ages. Re starting it a few times sorted this out and it didnt bother me much.
BUT THEN
About a month or two ago, MY BACKLIGHT FAILED!, and i was pissed lol. I dropped it by accident one day and it came back on! But then i dropped it again and the backlight isnt working again
So ive been really considering trying to take it apart and see what the dealio is.
Anyone taken a hd5 apart to see if they can repair it, or is it deadout for the backlight?
