Should there be a firmware upgrade to allow direct WAV transfer to NW-A3000 AND NWA1000?

I have had an idea..

What I am thinking is that Sony should make a firmware upgrade to allow WAV native playback (and transfer in Sonicstage) on the Sony NW-A#000. At the moment there is only WAV conversion to ATRAC in Sonicstage, which is good but for the ultimate in sound quality uncompressed audio is best. What do you think guys?

I wouldn't mind if sony released firmware to upgrade the devices to drag and drop. Knowing sony, don't count on it.

Knowing the A1000's real-life battery life, I'd like to personally buy you a new A829, so you don't have to ask for this anymore.

Likewise, WAV is also a kind of compression but higher at 1411kbps (for normal Music CD: 44,100 samples per second × 16 bits per sample × 2 channels = 1,411,200 bps = 1,378.125 kbps (k=1024), SACD is 64 times higher than that)

Sony would prefer you to buy a brand new unit than to provide a firmware upgrade. It ain't gonna happen. Sony just wants your hard earned cash.
