Bazirker Posted December 16, 2002 Report Share Posted December 16, 2002 I don't think so...although I just read a thing in the new Popular Science about Sony making a portable cd player that can read DVD's (has a video ouput,) write cd's, read mp3 cd's, and such. I was hoping that I could just go down to the local discount store and pick up a Sony unit with optical out. The current Sony CD walkman packaging doesn't really tell you much about what is inside. einolu Posted December 29, 2002 Report Share Posted December 29, 2002 btw, some units that have a line out in japan (imports) dont have a line out when they come to the us (domestic). i was about to import a pana 590 and kohnman (minidisct/audiocubes guy) said it had a line out, but when i bought the domestic model, it didnt have a line out... so just check before u buy, just in case. ~EO Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
