Guest Anonymous
I am interested in getting MZ-N505. But it seems like people are getting MZ-N707 more. Can you tell me what is wrong with MZ-N505. Is MZ-N707 worth paying more?
darK (aka Tharaka)
try looking at this comparison table... the 707 gets while the 505 doesnt: - Charging Cradle - Cross Control Jog Dial - Digital Sound Presets - Program Mode - (something with the battery, not sure what it is) - no Microphone Jack (thats the biggest attraction to the 707 compared with the 505) hope this helps... Guest Anonymous
707 doesnt have a backlite remote, The only plus of th 707 comparing to 505 is aluminium front cover and (stil) its remote, BUT 707 body buttons (and its control wheel espesialy) are worse, then on 505. Sorry for some bad english, i am russian.
darK (aka Tharaka)
well.. thats all well and done Hydra.. but in the long run.. its MUCH MUCH better to get the 707 over the 505... like i said before.. the 707 gets all this.. - Charging Cradle - Cross Control Jog Dial - Digital Sound Presets - Program Mode - (something with the battery, not sure what it is) - no Microphone Jack (thats the biggest attraction to the 707 compared with the 505) and the 505 DOESNT GET ANY OF THIS!!! there is nothing the 505 has that the 707 doesnt.. Leland
For the small difference in price, the microphone jack on the 707 is enough by itself to justify the difference if this is going to be your primary MD unit. Even if you don't think you will use it at this point, it is handy for lots of sound recording ideas and you might surprise yourself re wanting to use it later.
