rebrabnoj
I want to replace my ageing Sharp minidisc player, and I've narrowed the choice down to either the NZ-N707 or MZ-R909. I will use the unit for listening to while exercising mainly. I'm not bothered about the NetMD stuff, as I like recording using a direct connection to my CD player. Bearing this in mind, it seems the MZ-R909 is better as it is a lot lighter and slightly smaller. Is there any reason, bar NetMD functionality, why the N707 might be the better choice ? Thanks, Jon. Aidix
The only 'pro' is that you can use normal AA batteries in the 707 directly. This is considered a negative point by some because of the battery bulge. SO get the
Leland
If you don't want NetMD and the price difference is minimal, then the 909 is a better bet. It has better battery life and some other minor changes. Battery life is the best improvement. Not sure where you are, so it might need to be a Japan Import. I would guess the 910 would eventually replace the 909 in any market where it is supported.
