SimonMagus
Can someone with an N10 tell me how easy it is to get at the internal gumstick battery - especially if you want to put it in a battery recharger while travelling for an extended period of time (i.e. 2 years)? Does it mean packing a jeweller's screwdriver with you?
EVHShawn
The N10 doesn't have a gumstick battery, it has a lithium Ion battery, this is part of the reason it is so small. Although the battery is removable it would be extremely dificult to find a replacement battery for it. If you want a higher end portable that you can remove the rechargable battery out of I would go with the Sharp MD-DR7. Besides Sharp makes a higher quality recorder anyway. It's just not designed for daily/weekly/... replacement.
Duncan
Prismatic?? I'm seriously interested in getting an N10 myself, and I don't wanna have to send the unit into a Sony Service Centre each time the battery dies
