Ashitaka
I'm sure i'm not the only one, I miss aline out in my 707 like hell. The sound that comes from the phones out at max volume is crappy and I can't use it in a car or to an amplifier, DAMN. Why CD players that are not worth a pimento (spanish expression) have a line out and my +200$ 707 don't ??? Shame on you Sony.

Daijoubu
It's not a true line out since the headphone amp ic doesn't support this features unlike the N1 amp and even the pin on the atrac ic that tells the amp ic to switch to lineout isn't connected
Guest Anonymous
My mate has a N707. I did the hack on it, mainly for the line out, and I can say IT WORKS.
MD4DNV
Yep, the hack gives you an alternative to line out. Pretty close though.

tmeg
SAME QUESTION FOR MY MZ-N910 Ah, well? I thought, the 910 _has_ a true line-out mode???!!!
Joseph Papier
well, actually i bought it yesterday so i hadn't tested it yet. after reading the manual (still not tested in real though) it appears that there is an option in the menus which configures the out jack to LINE level instead of HEADPHONES. if it's really working, then i'm VERY satisfied bye this NetMD to replace my MZ-R35.
