devcoder Posted April 2, 2003 Report Share Posted April 2, 2003 Hey MD Users, does anyone out there (a programmer) want to work a program or dll that will get rid of the copy protection allowing md users to upload recordings to there PC. I hear that if you can upload files back from your MD to PC if they were checked out in OMG? Is this true? Any info. is helpful. If anyone is interested on working on something releated to this please email me at codercpp@hotmail.com and maybe we can develop something that would help out the MiniDisc Community. All that happens when you check in files is that the track is DELETED (not uploaded) off the MD and the check-out count is incremented on the omg file. Just to figure out the technology would cost you THOUSANDS in development man-hours and to provide a solution... you're looking at around 15K to 30K at least!
