gazjones123
Hey, I recently purchased a Sont MZ-N710 mindisc and recorded a few of my bands songs onto a minidisc at out local recording studios. I've only just realised that you cant upload songs onto ur cpu that havent been 'checked out' on it. So, I heard I can do it via a line out/in method. I was just wondering what cables/equipment I'll need for it. Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks.
mAjEsTiC
all the equipment that you will need is just a long enough 3.5mm Stereo plug to connect from your unit's HEAPHONES OUT/LINE OUT socket to the PC's LINE IN...this can be purchased anywhere but the cable will vary depending on what type of connectors you use...(i.e. 3.5mm Stereo -> 3.5mm Stereo or 3.5mm Stereo -> RCA Audio cable (L/R channels are split up into two cables one read and one white...) the software needed is win nmd which you can get here...this site should tell you all you need to know to get started out with analogue recordings using that software...hope this helps...
