eiku
Hi I'm a fresh Sharp im-mt880 owner and I have spent hours to get the device pluged to my pc (tried both on win2K and XP). The thing I manage is that after pluging USB and hiting play on the device my PC searches for the driver (I have installed all the software on the CD that was on the package) and sais - "An error occurred during the installation of the device. The system cannot find the specifed file." Has anybody had the same problem? Or any other help. I think it is not normal when attached drivers do not install on two different PCs. Thansk in advance Heiko

atrain
the best way to do it is to install the drivers with the md unplugged then reboot the pc into windows then plug the md in.most usb devices used to be installed like that.
Syrius
Hey, Eiku, sorry for asking this question instead of offering any advice. (Not like I have any, sorry.) Where's that signature quote from? Wolf's Rain, by any chance?
flipstah
I realize it's almost been a year since this has been active but I too, am having this problem as well. I haven't received any problems when I had my Aptiva on Win2K but I got a new Compaq Presario V2000 on XP and it's saying the same error. I don't know what to do.
