Guest Anonymous
Thanks in advance for your help. I'm getting a new error when I try to transfer music from CD to MD. I'm using a Windows 98 laptop and a MZ-N707 MD. I'm using Simple Burner (v.1.0). The software sees the CD and sees the MD (sees previous tracks on the MD). When I start the transfer, the software starts to process the music file than pops up a dialog box which states "The recording session has failed." I have uninstalled/reinstalled/updated. I'm at a loss of what to do next. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
georget99
A computer old enough to be running Windows-98 might be too slow. Sony specifies at least 400 MHz, 128 MB memory and it must be Windows-98 Second Edition.
Guest Anonymous
I am running windows 98 SE (sorry I wasn't more specific). The software had been working! A week ago, I was transferring files just fine. It just stopped. I haven't installed anything new. I'm mystified.

BerkY
Well thats Sony for you... They should just stick to making little, technologically advanced hardware and contract out the software production some other company... Why make a burning software based on FLASH??? Sheeesh!!!!! Cheers BerkY
Guest Anonymous
I'll uninstall & reinstall again, then report back. It's nice when the software works, but when it stops it is incredibly frustrating. Thanks.

Guest Anonymous
I've had the same thing happen a few times on my XP pro system. What you do in go to Open MG, and run the repair program from Open MG, it usually comes up automatically for me. For some reason uninstalling and reinstalling do not seem to work. Good Luck, Bob
